Once you've registered for a pre-license course with an approved Florida real estate school and have had your fingerprints scanned, the next step is to apply for your real estate license with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Here are the steps to completing that process:
Step One: Visit myFloridaLicense.com and click on the big yellow box labeled "Apply or Manage my License." (see below)
Step Two: Select "Real Estate" from the drop (see below):
Step Four: Click on the tab that says "Apply For A License," then click on the link that says "Real Estate Sales Associates," and finally click on "Initial Application-Sales Associate License (Form RE 1)" - (see below):
Step Four: A new tab will open in your browser and you'll be taken to the beginning of the application process. You'll have two options. Option 1 is to complete the application online and pay the application fee with a credit card. Option 2 is to print the application and mail it to the DBPR with a check. Option one is by far the fastest option. (see below):
